David Klein for TWA

I was surfing the net today after work and came across these awesome vintage Trans World Airlines (TWA) posters! They are by American Illustrator David Klein who created these for Howard Hughes' airline in the 1950's and 60's. Klein created dozens of vibrant posters using his abstract style to depict famous landmarks in his work for the airline. He ultimately defined the state of poster art for the period. In 1957, Klein was honored by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) when they included his TWA poster of Times Square into it's permanent collection.

I Love Love LOVED these images when I saw them and it was hard to narrow it down to only a few but I had to include the New York, and Washington DC posters since I just visited the cities a week ago and Las Vegas, because I will be traveling there again next month...
Then there is Paris. Oh Paris, I will one day soon visit you too..
