Jam out Wednesday

So we've been hearing about Daft Punks much anticipated new album Random Access Memories for months now and this past weekend at Coachella they previewed the track "get lucky" featuring hip hops Pharrell Williams.  Although they didn't end up performing as many festival goers anticipated, this was the next best thing.  Not gonna lie, I dig the song.  Can't wait to hear more from the duo.  Until then I'll be jammin out to this.

All things London!

Ello Mates!

Got back from London thursday evening and I'm finally starting to feel normal! Had such a lovely time getting to see the sights this past week, not to mention having the opportunity to watch the New Years Eve fireworks along the River Thames.  Here are a few pics of some of the sights, fashion, and music that London had to offer!

First off there is Wiley who is a Rapper from London who had this song called Heatwave, and well lets just say that I downloaded it as soon as I could get some wifi.  Quite catchy.

Next up is the fashion in London.  Whenever we stopped to eat we would try and sit outside so that we could people watch.  It was one of my favorite things to do while there.  I loved seeing what young guys and girls would throw together to make an outfit.  Lemme tell you, its all about the accessories in London. Tons of neat shoes, scarfs, bags, and head wear.  I couldn't help but snap a few pictures here and there.

Clockwise from Left to right.
1. Fiorelli shoulder bags are all the rage right now in London.  I managed to order one online but they were out of stock EVERYWHERE.  This is the bag of the season. I managed to take a picture of one while on the tube.
2. Next up is the wedge sneaker or just high top in general.  I saw these everywhere and was temped to try some on at topshop but the store was closing for the eve.
3. Here is a girl riding the double decker in Shoreditch.  I loved how casual she was yet still put together.  From the Ked looking sneakers to the leather jacket.  I loved everything about this outfit.
4. Ha ha.  Next up is me trying on a "head band" that I had seen everywhere.  I would say that I saw these the most in Central London and hence ended up getting one!  Hopefully I can pull it off here in the states!
5. Here are just some casual riders on the overground wearing fun pants and cute boots.  Its all about the boots in London I saw every color, style, print immaginable.
6. This was a cute hairdo that we spotted on the tube.  Love the rope she incorporated into the braid. A great way to spruce up a simple do.

Here are the girls from the show Made in Chelsea wearing some of the fur accessories I mentioned above.  Faux Fur is really big there right now.

I also saw a lot of camoufalge, (I love camo) and dark green hues on girls.  I saw a few camo jackets while shopping but they were a little expensitivo and had limited space for souvenirs.

Finally here are a few pictures from the City. I can't wait to go back!
Making our way towards the London Eye
 In Front of Big Ben
By the Jubilee Gardens near the London Eye
New Years Eve Fireworks From Westmister Abbey
 The Eye Up Close
At Hyde Park in front of the Serpentine where a lot of the water events took place for the Olympics.
Last but not least, always remembering to "Mind The Step" when entering and exiting the tube.

Cheers!
